Permanent hair removal with a diode laser has undergone great technical development in recent years and is a popular beauty treatment.
Gentle, smooth skin: Simple and safe thanks to the latest diode laser 808 technology. Beautiful smooth skin without annoying hair is the wish of many people who do not want to shave every day. Previous methods such as waxing, plucking, shaving are sometimes painful and have to be used regularly. The newly developed 808 diode laser with 1'500W solves these problems by using the most modern and effective technology. The diode laser is a directed, pure light beam, which is guided over the hair to the hair root and destroys it. The hair can therefore no longer grow back.
The laser is a pure light that emits energy. The hair absorbs this energy and transmits it to the hair roots, which are responsible for hair growth. These are destroyed so that they do not grow back again
Both technologies are based on pure, red-wave light, but they differ in the wavelength. The diode laser has a fixed wavelength of 808nm while the IPL/SHR method emits a broad wavelength spectrum. Both systems can achieve permanent hair removal, but the diode laser offers a faster and better result because the light is focused and targeted to the skin. The IPL/SHR treatment uses diffused light and therefore requires more sessions.
The LASER (Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation) is a monochromatic, highly focused light that emits energy. The D808 diode laser has been specially developed for permanent hair removal and is equipped with the SHR method to create an optimal energy range and perfect results. A constant laser beam with a wavelength of 808nm penetrates through the shaved hair and its melanin content to the stem cells in the hair. As the light with its wavelength (808nm) is tuned to permanent hair removal, the light energy is absorbed by the melanin in the hair and converted into heat.
How many treatments are needed in which period of time depends on several factors, such as the skin and hair condition. Usually it is 3-6 treatments, but this depends on the body zone, as each body zone has a different number of hair follicles per cm², such as the skin on the beard/chin with about 500 hair follicles/cm² and the armpits with only 65 follicles/cm². The following treatment intervals are recommended:
What is a laser?LASER is called: Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation or in German, light amplification by means of stimulated emission of electromagnetic radiation.

As a client, you must fill in a questionnaire regarding your current state of health before each treatment. If at least one of the listed contraindications applies to you, then unfortunately we cannot carry out a treatment out of consideration for your health. If you are in doubt, please contact us and we will be happy to assist you.
The treatments are primarily not recommended for the following contraindications:
It is essential that the areas of skin to be treated are not epilated using wax or tweezers for at least one month before the treatment. However, one can use other methods that do not remove the hair by the root, e.g. shaving or cream. Before the actual laser treatment, always perform a patch laser test (10-20 shots on the skin area to be treated and after 10 minutes check whether hypersensitivity to the laser treatment is visible: strong redness, wheal formation). Dark pigment spots (pigments, liver spots, etc.) must be covered with white eye liner or liquid Tipp-Ex before the laser treatment and must not be treated.Tattoos must also not be treated.
Apply a soothing skin care product (aloe vera, chamomile) to the treated area. Apply a high protection factor sunscreen or sun block when outdoors.
There are no known side effects.
